Christmas in July Blog Hop!

Spread the love

Get a bundle of more than 30 winter- and holiday-themed crochet patterns- including my Feeling Pine Dishcloth Set- for free using daily coupon codes! Read on to find out how.

What is a Blog Hop?

I participated in my first blog hop last year and learned a lot through that experience! And while it may seem like a lot of moving parts with daily blogs to visit and coupon codes to get, it’s definitely more work for the organizers than for you as a customer. I’ll outline here what you need to do to take full advantage of these free patterns, including my own, the Feeling Pine Dishcloth Set.

The whole point of a blog hop is to increase traffic to the participating blogs, which helps you to find new designers and patterns! Each day has a different free blog pattern, available for free with a special coupon code. The host blog, Regina P Designs, will have all the discount codes updated each day there is a pattern. Once you get the code for the day, you can follow a link to that designer’s blog so you can get the free pattern. Since this blog hop will have a different wintery-themed crochet pattern most days of July, make sure to bookmark the page and check daily so you can get each free pattern! You need to get the specific code for the free pattern of the day from the host blog. You can also choose to buy ALL the patterns as a steeply discounted bundle for only $9.99.

Where do I find the daily coupon codes?

Just head on over to Regina P Design’s blog to find each pattern-specific coupon code on the day that free pattern will be provided. You can then head to that specific designer’s blog so that you can get the link to the free pattern. So you will “hop” on over to Regina’s blog for the coupon, then “hop” over to the designer’s blog for the link to their pattern, and then “hop” to the designer’s online store where you can use the coupon code to get the pattern for free.

If you don’t want the work of remembering to hop around the Internet for each free pattern, you can also support all the designers by purchasing a PDF bundle of all the patterns for only $9.99. What a steal of a deal for more than a dozen patterns!

Feeling Pine Dishcloth Set: My Free Pattern Offering

This winter-themed dishcloth set has a pine tree stitch motif for a piece of practical and subtle
seasonal decor for the pine tree lover! The Feeling Pine Dishcloth can also be made into a
potholder or trivet by attaching two dishcloths together along the edges. There are even
instructions to make a dish towel version within the pattern! This is a great cotton yarn stash
buster and makes a great gift this time of year. Go for a monotone look to match your everyday
decor or go bold with colorwork to make your pine trees pop. This pattern is written in US
terminology and contains detailed photo and written tutorials for the unique stitches.

Here’s some more quick info about this pattern! Keep scrolling to get the download link to my shop where you can use the coupon code to get the pattern PDF for free on July 6.

Materials

  • Approximately 60 yards of worsted weight cotton yarn for the dishcloth
  • Approximately 260 yards in MC and 40 yards in CC of worsted weight cotton yarn for the
  • dish towel
  • Optional: scrap amounts of trunk color (approximately 2 yards)
  • US J/6 mm hook

Your gauge should be 13 sc x 15 rows = 4” if you want your dishcloth or dishtowel to measure approximately the same as mine. The dishcloth measures approximately 7.5″ by 7.5″ while the dish towel measures 12″ by 27.”

The coupon code (that you got from Regina P Designs) will get you the PDF of this pattern for FREE from my Ravelry shop. If Ravelry is not an option for you, you can always email the code to me at crowchetcreations@gmail.com. Then I can send you the PDF via email.

Click the button below to go to my Ravelry store for the free PDF! Add the pattern to your Ravelry cart, then you will be able to apply a coupon code to your cart to get the free download.

Thank you so much for participating in this Blog Hop! I hope you love getting all the patterns as well as learning about new-to-you designers. Merry Christmas in July!
