One Year Later: Knitting Socks

Spread the love

When I started the journey of learning to knit, I could not have imagined how far I would come. Knitting has stolen my heart, and while I started the learning process in order to knit socks, I have created so much more than that. After dozens (that’s right, DOZENS) of socks, multiple sweaters, a handful of pattern tests, and even my own knit design, this first year of knitting has been a whirlwind of yarn and techniques.

I share all the socks I knit in my first year of knitting in a YouTube video here____, as well as a bunch of interesting stats about the types of socks I knit. I also have a YouTube video here _____ that is a part 2 to this sock knitting video. In this second video, I answer some questions sourced from my Instagram followers about knitting socks, including many of my favorite things in sock knitting!

Below I included every single link related to the socks I have knit this past year. It was so much information I couldn’t include it in my YouTube video description! So I have a truncated version on YouTube, but the full description is below. Here you’ll find links to the patterns I followed as well as the yarns I used and any other links I mentioned in my videos.

***Some of these links may be affiliate links, meaning that at no extra cost to you I get a commission when I refer you. Where possible, I have tried to link any patterns through sources that are not Ravelry; however, some links still access Ravelry. If that is a problem for you, you can hover your mouse over the link to see if it goes to Ravelry.***

WeCrochet affiliate link- I love WeCrochet/Knitpicks as an affordable and high quality yarn brand! They have some great sock yarns, including their Stroll lines and Hawthorne lines.
