The Sweet Pea Vest, a spring/summer vest, is a great layering accessory to add color and texture to any outfit. It works up quickly and is written in sizes XS-5X! It has approximately 2-4 inches of positive ease to ensure a loose, comfortable fit. I used Loops & Threads Creme Cotton, but any worsted weight yarn will work. This vest is approximately hip length as written but can easily be customized to a shorter or longer length. The stitch patterns work a texture that mimics the shape of the sweet pea flower petals while there is also a unique yet simple mesh that adds interest and texture. It is an advanced beginner pattern with repeated stitch patterns throughout, making it fairly quick and easy to work up.
