The Sweet Pea Shawlette is made with DK weight yarn. It has a lightweight yet full fabric with a texture that mimics the shape of the sweet pea flower petals. This crescent-shaped shawlette is small and light enough to be the perfect warmer weather accessory, while being cozy enough to help you transition through tenuous spring weather. A unique yet simple mesh detail along the edge adds interest and texture. It is an advanced beginner pattern with repeated stitch patterns throughout, making it fairly quick and easy to work up. The written pattern is for a shawlette, yielding a small size. If you want to make a larger, more traditional shawl, this pattern also includes instruction for adding a customized amount of rows to make the perfect sized shawlette or shawl.
